COACH JUAN ADRIATICO
Coach Juan Adriatico is an Orlando, Florida native whose baseball career has spanned competitive youth baseball, high school and collegiate athletics, military baseball, international competition, coaching, and player development.
Coach Adriatico attended Father Lopez Catholic High School in Florida, where he developed as a catcher and hitter. During his development, he worked with Frank Core, who also worked with Major League Baseball star Chipper Jones, and received coaching from former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Rick Rhoden and MLB All-Star Chet Lemon.
His baseball experience began at an early age, including participation in the Little League World Series and Junior Olympics, and he was selected by Team One Baseball. As a high school prospect, Adriatico developed into a highly rated catcher and drew interest from the New York Yankees organization before suffering a significant shoulder injury.
Despite the setback, Adriatico continued his baseball career and earned a full athletic scholarship after an outstanding high school campaign in which he hit .520 and earned First-Team All-Florida honors.
Adriatico was recruited by Coach Rusty Stroupe to attend Lander University, where he played for three years. Although injuries affected portions of his collegiate career, his performance and baseball ability allowed him to continue competing at the college level.
He later received another full scholarship while pursuing graduate theological education at Erskine Theological Seminary, continuing his baseball career under Coach Kevin Nichols.
Although professional baseball opportunities remained available, including potential late-round draft opportunities, Adriatico ultimately chose a different path of service and leadership.
Coach Adriatico became a U.S. Army Officer and Chaplain, serving his country through two combat tours in Iraq.
His passion for baseball continued throughout his military career. In 2012, he was selected to play for the Military All-Stars, combining high-level baseball with military service.
In 2016, while stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, Coach Adriatico launched the Military Baseball Organization.
Under his leadership, Military Baseball developed into an international organization involving approximately 300 players, bringing together military personnel and athletes through teams representing the United States, Japan, Spain, and Italy.
The organization became an opportunity to use baseball not only for competition, but also for leadership development, camaraderie, international relationships, and support for the military community.
Today, Coach Adriatico—known by many players simply as “Coach A”—specializes in hitting instruction and player development.
Drawing from decades of playing, coaching, military leadership, and competitive baseball experience, Coach A has worked with athletes ranging from youth and high school players to collegiate and professional-level athletes.
His hitting philosophy emphasizes:
Mechanics • Timing • Approach • Discipline • Confidence • Mental Toughness • Situational Hitting • Player Development
Coach A's approach extends beyond developing a player's swing. His goal is to develop disciplined athletes who understand the mental and physical demands of the game while learning the leadership, accountability, and work ethic necessary to compete at increasingly higher levels.
From Orlando baseball to collegiate athletics, combat military service, international military baseball, and player development, Coach Juan Adriatico brings a unique combination of baseball knowledge, leadership experience, and commitment to developing the next generation of athletes.
Coach is a level II Certified Archery Instructor who has trained students, hunters and competitors across the country.

Faith, Fans & Freedom
Imagine a professional-level baseball organization whose mission is bigger than the game.
Military Baseball exists to glorify Jesus Christ by bringing together churches, families, communities, veterans, active-duty military, police officers, firefighters, local businesses, dance teams, motorcycle groups, youth organizations, and fans under the lights of modern sports arenas.
Our games are more than baseball games — they are faith shows, community outreaches, military appreciation events, and worship gatherings designed to unite people through America’s pastime while sharing the hope, truth, and grace of Jesus Christ.
Through fireworks, giveaways, free food, free ticket opportunities, youth clinics, community partnerships, and professional-level baseball entertainment, we use sports as a bridge to reach hearts, strengthen families, honor our heroes, and develop disciples of Christ.
Our mission is simple:
Glorify Christ. Serve communities. Honor our U.S. Armed Forces and first responders. Use baseball as a platform to share the Gospel and build disciples for the Kingdom of God.
Military Athletics exists to honor God, strengthen families, and serve communities by honoring the United States Military through baseball, athletics, mentorship, and outreach.
”Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

God is the very foundation of our ministry in serving communities through the love, truth and world view of Jesus Christ. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Mathew 6:33

Sports is the vehicle to which we bring the message of Jesus Christ to others and in honoring our U.S Armed Forces. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

We are dedicated to community youth outreach to kids across America.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” 1. Matthew 28:19–20

We are dedicated to partnering with local churches, non-profits, business and our US. Military in bringing about God's truth, grace and mercy through the arenas of athletics.Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching”

We believe in the values of love, sacrifice and freedom in honoring our men and women of The U.S. Military, First Responders and our Law Enforcement. John 15:12-13
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

We believe in molding, developing and growing leaders for the next generation.
“He must increase, but I must decrease.
31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.” John 3:30-31

The U.S. Military Baseball Organization was founded by Chaplain Juan Adriatico, known by many as “Chaps.” A prior United States Army and Navy Chaplain, Chaplain Adriatico has committed his life to serving military members, veterans, and their families. Over the course of 15 years of military service, including two combat tours in Iraq, he witnessed firsthand the sacrifice, resilience, and strength of America’s service members.
His passion for Christ and heart for helping others has carried him from hospital rooms, to battlefields, to the baseball field. In 2016, while serving in Japan, that calling led to the creation of The U.S. Military Baseball Organization.
What began as a vision to bring military members together through baseball has grown into a global movement impacting thousands across the world. Built on faith, service, discipline, and brotherhood, the organization exists to honor God, strengthen families, serve communities, and represent the United States Military with excellence.
Through baseball, athletics, mentorship, and community outreach, The U.S. Military Baseball Organization continues to stand for one mission:
God. Family. Country. Service.
